Because it is more soluble than limestone, reactions occur at a higher speed and result in a shorter period for its corrective action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Among other sources of silicon, solubility varies significantly:<\/strong> blast furnace products have higher silicon content and low solubility, while steel mill products have lower silicon content but are more soluble.
